These are my two final images for another part of my styling and imaging project at uni. I collaborated with Hannah who is a third year fashion design student to photograph a piece from her collection. I took these images in a field next to my uni car park!

So today's post is to show you my new top and my new hair clearer than yesterdays photos. First of all I bought this top from the cutest little boutique in Brighton on the day I went out and took street style photos. We stumbled across the small shop near the laines and were amazed by its vintage layout and beautiful clothes and accessories! We were in there for ages and I ummed and ahhed about this top but decided to leave it but after I left the girls I passed it again on the way to train station and thought it would be rude not to have another little look and ended up buying this top for £26! They do have a website www.kateandaud.com but the shop is definately worth a visit even just for a chat with the lovely staff. The girl that was working filled me in that they also do a market by the laines on saturdays if the weathers ok and some of the stuffs a little cheaper so that might also be worth a visit :) 

This is an outfit I wore to work but I actually ended up just wearing my black jeans because I decided after these photos that the leggings looked a little unflattering!

Please excuse the dark photos I took these after work and I have no facilities on my computer to make them any lighter! I bought these amazing jeans on my uniform for a bargain price of £16! You can't really tell in these photos but I dip dyed my hair lilac (well actually its not my hair its some random ladys made into extensions). I've been wanting to do it for a while but didn't have the guts to do it to my own hair so I thought i'd try it out on my extensions and I love it! I used directions hair dye in lilac :)

VAN LAUN

So, this is a new band from Portsmouth consisting of two brothers, Perry Van Laun aged 20 (very nearly 21) and Louis Van Laun aged 24. They decided to start writing songs a year ago and these are their first recorded demos. I am slightly biased seeing as Perry is my boyfriend but these songs are amaze balls and I feel very proud so please take the time to have a listen :)

I am a sucker for unusual shoes and these Jeffrey Campbell Stinger shoes tick all the boxes! I am actually in love and NEED them in my life! They have already sold out from solestruck so I'm just waiting to leap on them wherever they next appear. I just wish they appear on an english site because I've heard lots of stories about hidden charges when ordering off american sites and these are probably expensive enough as it is!

Brighton Street Style

On Friday me and a few friends from my course took a stroll round Brighton to try and get some street style shots for our project. It took us quite a while to build up the courage to approach people and I missed quite a few good opportunities because of this but once one of us had started we all got into the swing of it. My theme of my street style project is couples (not necessarily relationship couples, just two people together) because I love how two peoples outfits either work well together or completely contrast each other. Brighton never fails to supply interestingly dressed people!
