Sunnies: Quay Australia
Earrings: eBay
Sheer Dress: Somewhere Nowhere
Swimsuit: Vintage
Belt: Sassy World
Sliders: Nike via ASOS
Fluffy Bag: Market Stall

This is one of those outfits that probably shouldn't work but the matchy matchy colour combinations kinda brings it all in together. I mentioned before that I'm obsessed with pink and orange together so I teamed my gorgeous orange vintage trousers from Bird on a Wire with a matching orange swimsuit, pink sliders and pink bag. I keep destroying my feet with uncomfortable shoes but these are my go-to sandals for comfort. Literally the comfiest shoes I have ever owned my life!

I hope everyone is managing to enjoy a bit of this beautiful british summer <3

My blog is 3 today!

Sunnies: Quay Australia
Earrings: eBay
Top: Charity Shop
Jeans: Vintage Moschino
Jacket: Motel Rocks
Shoes: Y.R.U

I can't believe my blog is 3 today! Time has absolutely flown by...

I started this blog for a uni project with not a clue about the ins and outs of the blogosphere and with no intentions of ever being a blogger, if that makes sense? I am so happy that I started this little outlet as it has opened the door to so many opportunities. I probably wouldn't have started Sassy World if it wasn't for my blog and would probably be doing a completely different job!

I have met the most amazing girls through blogging, all of whom are huge inspirations to me- especially Sara from Waiste and Jess and Stef from How Two Live. I am extremely grateful to all of you who actually read this blog and take the time to comment on my posts- it really does mean the world.

I have included a really cringey collage at the bottom of this post which portrays the pretty drastic change of my style over the years. I can't believe I was ever so dark and grunge?! Also, the first photo on the top left was my first EVER blog post hahaha- farmer chic.

I was at a point before where I didn't really know what my style was, it was sometimes a bit grungey, other days a bit hippy then some times a bit colourful. As I've grown up I care less about what people think and have realised I feel a lot more confident and comfortable when wearing lots of colour and print.

Anyway, thank you to all who have supported me and this blog, you are all amazing. I hope I can carry on for another 3 years :)

Tropicool

Sunnies: Quay Australia
Top: This is a Love Song
Shoes: Y.R.U

I really love picking a theme for an outfit then going all out and dressing head-to-toe in that theme. In today's case it's tropical themed. The lovely Robyn from Missguided asked me to pick a couple of pieces from their tropicool trend and I picked this gorgeous kimono and skirt, teamed it with my palm tree top and an actual palm tree. It's really making me miss being in a hot country but only 5 weeks and 1 day until Ibiza! Speaking of which, can anyone recommend any cool places/bars/beaches to go in Ibiza, bearing in mind I am not a hardcore raver?!

I rock a lot of polka dots

Jacket & Crop Top: Vintage
Belt: Sassy World
Shoes: YRU

I've come to realise that I am constantly drawn to polka dots. I know it's a bit of a marmite print but I find I can clash it with just about anything, including other polka dots (I hope you guys got the new girl reference in the title). As I mentioned in my previous post, I recently did a blogger's choice shoot with We Are Cow and this skirt is one of my favourite picks from the shoot. You can see the rest of my outfits and my interview here.

I've been wanting a chain belt like the 90s style ones for ages so I thought I will make my own! This is Sassy World's first sample and I have a few things to change but I will be selling them online very soon :D

Life Update

Sunnies: Quay Australia
Earrings: eBay
Top, Kimono & Bag: Vintage
Faux Fur: H&M
Trousers: Topshop
Shoes: New Look

I have quite a life update for you all. So in my last post I said it was the day of my degree results and the waiting was making me so nervous. Well... I GOT A FIRST :D I am SO over the moon as it was the most painful and stressful year of my life after my step dad passed away and I know he will be bursting with pride <3 I shall be graduating in October with a first class degree in Fashion Media and Promotion. YAY! To celebrate I booked Ibiza the same day with the girls so I can go and see my best friend Maidie who has been working out there sine May.

I have also gone lighter! The day I came back from holiday I just thought dya know what I'm just gonna do it and went in the same day for a good chop and a full head of highlights. Luckily my hair was pretty much virgin hair so they didn't need to use bleach which is what I was most scared of. I'm still unsure as to whether it suits me but I guess it will take a while to get used to it!

I spent a couple of days this week in Manchester shooting with We Are Cow (can't wait to show you the photos) and having a mooch around as I hadn't been before. Whilst I was walking around getting lost a nice man called Mr Johnblip came up to me and asked to take my photo. I have since checked out his Flickr and am so impressed with his amazing street photography!

Whilst I was in Manchester I got to meet up with lots of blogger babes and old friends as well meeting lots of Manchester's 'quirky' characters! I really enjoyed it (minus the part when I had my purse stolen- don't worry I got it back) and managed to visit everywhere that people recommended to me on Instagram.

I have come back really motivated and am gonna attempt to blog more so you may be seeing more of my colourful wardrobe very soon :D

Holiday Outfits: Part One

I've been rather absent from my blog recently due to several reasons. I have just finished university and been concentrating on Sassy World but I have also contemplated stopping blogging for a while as I feel the whole blogger world has changed a lot. I can't really put my finger on it but I generally feel that the blogosphere is over-saturated with people who all dress the same with little originality and there's not much appreciation for people who dress remotely different. It's been a very long time since I've found a blog that I've fallen in love with for it's uniqueness which in turn has somehow caused me to lose my blogging mojo. I don't mean to sound so negative so I apologise for that but just had to get it off my chest- phew!

However, after a week away in Tenerife I realised how much enjoyment blogging has given me over the past 3 years and I'm certainly not ready to give it up just yet! So I'm back with my holiday outfits :D

If you follow me on Instagram you probably will have seen all or some of these so rather than doing an outfit in each post I'm going to bundle them together in two big blog posts to stop it from being too un-exciting. Hope you like them! <3
