These are some of my favourite images from my recent trip to Italy and a couple of outfit pics. A few students from my course (fashion media & promotion), fashion designs and textiles design spent 2 days in Milan and 2 and a half days in Florence. Overall, we all pretty much agreed that we preferred Florence over Milan just because it was smaller and less daunting than Milan and it had a better atmosphere. I am glad that I am able to say I have been to one of the fashion capitals though and one of my highlights of Milan was having a lecture at the fashion college which was very interesting! I'm definately going to be making a visit to Florence again in the future!

These are some images from my historical photo shoot for a uni project. My era was 1960s (hopefully you can guess that). The top two images are going to be my final images which I hand it next month along with two high end fashion shots and two street style images. I found the dress on ebay and its an original 1960s dress!

Milan Street Style

Last week myself and the fashion department from Northbrook College went on a trip to Milan and Florence-photos to come. My current uni project is styling and photography and part of it is to take street style photos and these are a couple I took in Milan.

The first photo was taken on the first day after a bit of luck as he approached me for a photo for his blog: http://www.boyurbandchic.blogspot.com/2012/02/i-love-milan.html so I thought it was a great opportunity for my street style project as they both looked amazing!

The second photo was also taken in Milan, I had to take a photo of her as she just looked effortlessly beautiful.

I love these trousers and decided to dress them down for work but would like to wear them again with a blouse and heels for a more dressy occasion.

I've been loving tartan prints ever since Rihanna wore 'that outfit' on the X factor and came across this boyfriend jacket in a charity shop and had to have it! I wore black patent loafers and a black bag with it :)

Just a quick post to finally show our first ever documentary which we made for our broadcasting project on Fanny Karst's collection. When we were making it the music definately didnt sound as tinny as that but heyho its ok for our first one!

These are a few images from NYE! A few of us went out to our usual spot as it was still free to get in and the drink prices stayed the same whereas everywhere elses prices seemed to have gone up. I bought this dress the other day from Topshop and was slightly worried there would be a few other people out wearing it so as I have an unhealthy obsession with collars atm I thought I would try and find a shirt in a charity shop that I could put underneath. I found two shirts so I could practice incase one went wrong as I originally wanted to paint on collar tips aswell but I painted them gold and it didnt really look right against the silvery grey colour of the dress. I literally cannot wear any other shoes out other than my jeffreys now (hence the mucky heel) because they are so comfortable!
