GIRLS WITH GLASSES

Photocourtesy of SaintLaurent Paris

I am in dire need of a pair of regular glasses, and am thinking of a cool, semi- nerdy frame almost as this one by Saint Laurent. However a pair in Havana pattern by a local (Bergen-based) brand Kaibosh and not to mention that they cost only a fraction of regular design frames.
Now, off getting ready for CFW...

WHICH ONE TO CHOOSE?

There is no discussion that baseball trend is BIG this year and with it the inevitable pinstripes that were all over the catwalk either as sweaters and dresses as in Stella McCartney 2013 or as the more masculine version in oversized suits and tweed coats. I am probably going for both (just need to find the perfect suit with cigarette trousers and bold lapels) but the search when it comes to sweaters is over as these beauties by a fantastic swedish designer Ann-Sofie Back have been haunting my mind lately.
Kind of indecisive on which color to for. What do you think?

Choker- eBay
Top- Made by my Mum
Kimono- Vintage
Shorts- H&M
Shoes- River Island
Unicorn Bag- Somewhere Nowhere

How amazing is this holographic unicorn clutch bag?! I can't even describe how much I love it, it's just so magical it makes me emotional. Why can't all clothes and accessories be as fun as this bag?

I felt the bag would go perfectly with my new holographic sandals from River Island which are ridiculously comfy by the way! This is what I wore out last night to watch my boyfriend's gig and then for a few drinks. It was a really good night and as always I'm bursting with pride over how well Perry's band, Van Laun are doing. If you're into indie/rock kinda music and wanna check them out they're Youtube channel is here and you can see what they're up to via Facebook here.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend :)

CURRENTLY UP TO

From croptops to oversized sweaters, I am currently up at a mountain cabin enjoying pretty nature and everchanging weather. I pulled on my Grand love from Hope and paired it with bleached denim as I am sooo into beige/light blue combo currently, and just went strolling around the island as the nature is breathtaking here.
Have a great Sunday!

SUMMERTIME

So, this is officially my first post on the new Macbook as my laptop has said bye and farewell some days ago (thus the lack of posting and general silence). And after a few days of pulling my hair in irritation I have finally found my way around this squarything that still seams from another world.
But back to the outfit, At first I was quite skeptical in pairing a crop-top with a shorter skirt, but when the temperatures are still insane at 10 pm the idea of wearing very, very little clothes was tempting. So, I tried it on and I have to say that I loved the result. Although I was first concerned that it would be just to tacky and even cheap-looking it worked because of the fact that the skirt is highwaisted and the medium heel, actually it just added a cool spice to the outfit and made it very clubbing-in-tropical-temperatures friendly. Funny enough I am currently spending the days in a big knit as we are up in the mountains at the family cabin...
Have a great weekend loves!

I am wearing MiuMiu satin croptop, Givenchy leather skirt, Celine vinyl sandals, Angel Jackson purse, Eddie Borgo and Cooee bracelets and Georg Jensen watch.

Hat- Topshop
Choker- eBay
White top & leopard kimono- Vintage
Tartan Playsuit- c/o Glamorous
Shoes- Jeffrey Campbell

Sun & Hamsa Charm rings- Little Teacup
Bull Skull ring- Dixi

Heyyy I'm back! I didn't intentionally mean to leave this long a gap between blogging I've just been rather busy with lots of exciting things. First of all, what do you all think of my new blog layout? My very talented and beautiful friend Rachel gave it a revamp and I absolutely love it. I didn't have many preferences really, I just let Rachel do her thing of whatever she thinks suited me and I'm over the moon with it <3

The lovely people over at Glamorous sent me over this gorgeous little tartan pinafore playsuit for me to style up. If like me, you've been reading the autumn winter trend guides for 2013/14 then you will know that once again tartan is set to be huge so I thought I'd choose something that I can wear both now and later on. Tartan and leopard are one of my fave combos so couldn't resist chucking this kimono/cardi over the top of it.

Today I've been busy (finally) shooting some two pieces and flower crowns that me and my mum have made ready to be sold on ASOS Marketplace for all you lovely people to buy. They will most probably be up mid next week but I will post it up on here when it's up anyway so keep an eye out!

THINKING OF : LACE SLIP AS A DRESS

Photocourtesy of Zara.com

So, not the biggest Zara fan (mainly because I find them overpriced in the light of quality they deliver, but...) however this pic from their AW campaign embodies spot on the trend I have had on my mind for the last couple of months : Laceslip or a delicate lace dress worn with some heavy masculine coat. I find the subtle punk reference and a node to the sultry classic very, very appealing this season.
