Party Season has once again sprung upon us and the pressure for finding the ultimate party dress is back on. In this post I have chosen some pretty damn fine dresses in hope that I will help someone (anyone?) ease that pressure off.
As I'm sure most of you in the UK are all aware, House of Fraser is a 'premium department store' stocking a variety of designer brands like DKNY and Biba to more high street brands such as Warehouse and Oasis. The huge variety of brands makes it easier to search for a certain item in one place rather than having to go to lots of different websites. So, after browsing through the dresses department I put together a list of my five fave party dresses that are in a more affordable price range. I didn't actually intend for them to all be black but it seems to be my favourite colour choice this time of year!
This is the cheapest out of the five dresses I have chosen and think it is probably the most versatile. It could be worn as a party dress with a chunky necklace and shoe boots and then toned down for the day with a collared shirt underneath with tights and boots.
I think I can speak for the majority of us girls when I say that we are all loving a high neckline or two this season and this bargain dress ticks that box. When it comes to this time of year I love anything lace and this neckline is gorgeous!
I love the simplicity of this dress and think it looks so much more expensive than what it is. It would look amaze teamed with a pair of metal wrist cuffs and matching collar necklace.
This is my absolute favourite out of the bunch although I'm a little scared of plunging necklines so not sure I could pull it off however if I could, I would wear it with a dark, vampy lipstick and a velvet dangly choker.
Now this dress is a quite far out of my price range, but a girl can dream right? This dress provides the perfect party combination; sheer, feathers and velvet. This would be ideal for a News Year Eve party!
Which is your favourite dress?
